I introduced the Littles to a classic this week.
This conversation ensued:
m: Mom, is Mr. Rogers real? Is he alive?
me: He was a real person, but he's not alive any more.
m: Why?
me: Well, he got really sick, and then he died.
m: So... (long pause) (audible gasp) I will get to meet him in Heaven?! I'm sooooo excited!!!
We're looking forward to it, Mr. Rogers.
